The closing ceremony of a basic tailoring course was held in Hsipaw Township, Northern Shan State on Sunday.
Township Administrator U Kyaw Zeya gave an opening speech and Deputy Staff Officer Daw Hnin Yin Win from the Department of Rural Development (DRD) explained the purposes and benefits of the course. According to the DRD official, the course was conducted with the aim of creating better job opportunities for local people and increasing their income. The township administrator and concerned officials then presented the completion certificates to the trainees.
A total of 20 trainees throughout the township attended the one-month course conducted by the DRD under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.—IPRD
