An event to donate medical equipment to a public hospital by employees from the Department of Education was held in Myinmu Township, Sagaing Region on October 14.
First, Township Education Officer Daw San San Wai explained the purpose of donation and presented medical equipment to Dr Kathi Khaing, Medical Superintendent of Minmu Hospital who spoke words of thanks. The medical equipment donated to Myinmu Hospital is worth K 2.2 million.
In addition, they donated K 450,000 to a temporary quarantine center that houses the returnees in the compound of a traditional medicine hospital.
