Extended healthcare facility launched in Kayah State border town

A ceremony to launch an extended two-storey healthcare facility was held in the compound of a public hospital in Mese, a border town in Kayah State yesterday evening.

First, Chief Minister of Kayah State U L Phoung Sho, members of the local government, an official from the Department of Public Health and a town elder formally opened the new healthcare structure. The chief minister delivered an address, urging public participation in an attempt to carry out developmental tasks to benefit the fruits of success.

Next, an official from the Department of Public Health clarified the aim of constructing the extended healthcare building and handed over documents relating to the facility to concerned officials. The chief minister and his entourage then awarded Ks. 200,000 to the cheering squads and donated cash assistance to the patients receiving medical treatment at the hospital.—Wut Yi (IPRD)
