A ceremony to provide farmland compensation to a farmland owner whose farmland was confiscated for the construction of Gyaing (Kawkareik) Bridge in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State was held at the Township General Administration Department yesterday.
At the ceremony, State Minister for Immigration and Human Resource U Min Ko Khaing clarified the purpose of the ceremony. Then, the State Minister presented K 9,799,850 of farmland compensation to the farmland owner for his 1.75 acres of farmland.
