Confiscated farmlands were returned to the state at the meeting hall of Myaung Mya District General administration Department this afternoon with an opening speech by District Commissioner U Thaung Tin Htwe.
Then, Assistant Director U Toe Lwin of Myaung Mya District Consumer Affairs Department handed over the documents related to the confiscated farmlands to the District Administrator.
Today Myaung Mya District CAD returned six plots of confiscated farmlands to the state, five plots from Einme Township and one plot from Myaung Mya Township, said Assistant Director U Toe Lwin of the District CAD.
The returned plots will be given back to original owners following a proper scrutiny.
Also present at the event were MP U Thant Zaw Win of the Regional Hluttaw, members of the District Land Management Committee and district level departmental officials.— Aung Min ( Myaung Mya)
