A ceremony to provide fingerlings to fish breeders in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State was held at District Department of Fisheries this morning.
With the aim of supporting fisheries during the COVID-19 pandemic, the officials provided fingerlings to fish breeders. At the ceremony, an official from the State Department of Fisheries clarified why the fingerlings were provided to the fish breeders free of charge.
Then, the officials provided 50,000 fish species to the fish breeders for 25 acres of fish farms and disseminated pamphlets published by the Department of Fisheries to the fish breeders.
