Kanpatlet, March 13
A fire broke out in ward-2 in the town of Kanpatlet in Chin state, destroying two houses at about 12 pm today. No casualty was reported in the fire.
The fire was put out in an hour after it had started by firefighters, local policemen, departmental staff and local people with the use of two fire engines. A tenant living in a destroyed house owned by U Mana Hlae was being investigated by local police station in connection with the fire.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.—Than Maung (IPRD)
