First batch of COVID-19 medical supplies purchased from China for General Election arrives in Yangon

The first batch of COVID-19 medical supplies which were purchased from the People’s Republic of China arrived at the Yangon International Airport by China Southern Airlines yesterday.


The consignment of medical supplies included 250 boxes of KN95 masks weighing 2,066 kg.


More COVID-19 medical supplies including KN95 masks, PPE medical protective suits, medical caps and goggles from China will arrive at the Yangon International Airport and the Mandalay International Airport between 18 October and 3 November.


The reason of purchase of the medical supplies is to distribute them to the voters and polling station staff and volunteers who will work for 2020 General Election.
