Five returnees allowed to go back home after 14-day quarantine in Rikhawdar

Five people who returned from Mizoram State of India and Kalay Myo in Sagaing Regon were allowed to go back home yesterday after being placed under 14-day observation at a facility quarantine center in the town of Rikhawdar, Falam District, Chin State.


The town Administrator U Cin Lam Khaing and Dr. Sang Mah, medical superintendent of station hospital in Rikhawdar presented health certificates and gave words of encouragement to them before departure for their homes.


Three people will also be put under seven-day home quarantine when they arrive in their native villages in accordance with the guidance of Ministry of Health and Sports.


Currently, 13 people are put under 14-day observation at the quarantine center in the town of Rikhawdar.
