With the assistance of Republic of Korea and under the leadership of Mon State Agriculture Department, a ceremony to reveal the signboard of a rural library and tarred road was held at Ahauk village, Paung township, Mon State this morning with an opening address made by Minster for Agriculture, Livestock and Transport U Tun Htay.
Afterwards, Head of the State Agriculture Department U Kyi Soe and an official of the Korean project unveiled the signboard.
This was followed by the donation of a wide range of publications by officials concerned to Administrator of Ahauk village U My Shwe.
Regional development works such as upgrade of roads, establishment of libraries and rural health care centers were carried out in the villages of Kadine, Kawhtaw, Dekin, Ahauk and Okkan in 2018-2019 fiscal year.—Ko Hein (Paung)
