The total number of cases had reached 5,543,439 as of 18:00 UTC on Monday.
The United States has the world's highest number of cases at 1,669,040; followed by Brazil at 374,898; Russia at 362,342; Britain at 266,590; Spain at 236,259; and Italy at 230,555.
The total global death toll stands at 347,836.
The US has recorded the most fatalities at 98,426; followed by Britain at 37,130; Italy at 32,955; France at 28,460; Spain at 27,117; and Brazil at 23,473.
