Globetrotters visit Myanmar on their motorbikes

The Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has been arranging travel schedules to attract international visitors to Myanmar safely and conveniently. The ministry also organized some travel routes for foreign visitors who enter the country through border checkpoints.

 

The ministry also organized some travel routes for tourists who enter the country through border checkpoints to enjoy natural scenery and traditional cultural customs of ethnic people. 12 tourists from United States, Britain, Switzerland, Canada, Nepal and Thailand visited Myanmar on their own motorcars on 25 January under the management of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and Pegu Travels Co., Ltd.

 

They also travelled to Myawady, Mawlamyine, Ye, Dawei, Myeik and Kawthoung and departed for Thailand through the Kawthoung border checkpoint on 3 February. This is open season in Myanmar and some travel restrictions were eased to attract more tourists. Foreigners are continuously entering Myanmar by land, air and sea to visit significant tourist attraction sites in the country.
