Demoso 4 January
A ceremony to open independence monument and stone square was held near Ngwe Taung Dam in Demoso, Kayah State this morning. Under the guidance of the Kayah State Government, the facility was constructed with the allocated amount of K 59.4 million.
At the ceremony, state minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation U Boss Ko made opening remarks. Afterwards, proper documents were handed over to Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department by the construction company.
The state minister for agriculture, livestock and irrigation U Boss Ko, MP U Paul Sai of Pyithu Hluttaw, MP U Bawyal Soe Wai of Amyotha Hluttaw, tonwhsip administrator U Nyan Hlaing and a community leader opened the independence monument and square and they sprinkled the scented water to the monument.
