A dinner in honour of the Luyechun students was held in the compound of the Shan State Government Office in Taunggyi. At the ceremony Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Linn Htut delivered a speech.
Afterwards the Chief Minister, State ministers and departmental officials presented commemorative gifts to the Luyechuns and on behalf of the Luyechun students Grade Ten Luyechun Maung Khantnya Nanda spoke words of thanks.
After the dinner a closing ceremony of the camp was held at No. 1 Basic Education High School with a bonfire. Earlier in the day the Luyechuns visited Htan San Cave and Shwedagon Replica Pagoda in Ho Pone Township, Pa’O Self-Administered Zone. In the afternoon the Luyechun students visited Mwaytaw Kakku Pagoda in Kyauktalongyi Township, cultural museum and Myoma market in Taunggyi.—Zin Oo (Myanma Alin) (Translated by Zaw Min)
