The construction work of Wampan-Naungyarsai-Wamkyaung inter-village gravel type road undertaken by the Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department under Ministry of Border Affairs in Legya Township of southern Shan State has been completed by 100 percent.
The section of the road which is two miles in length on five miles long road was constructed by the Progress of Border Areas and National Races Department with K 332.18 million of the department’s funds for 2023-2024 FY.
The new gravel type road brings socio-economic development to 4502 people from households in seven villages in the Township, ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money.—MNA
