Inya Centre donates over K24 mln worth RT-PCR Lab, related equipment to MSSRC

Inya Centre donated RT-PCR Lab and related equipment, which are worth K24,710,600, to Medical Skill, Simulation and Research Centre (MSSRC) of the University of Medicine 1.


The donation ceremony was held at the University of Medicine 1 on 16 December and attended by Dr Zaw Wai Soe, Rector of the University of Medicine 1 and Vice-Chairman of Yangon’s COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Committee and the officials, Inya Centre Committee Chairman U Kyaw Win and U Khun Naung, the chairman of the Working Committee and the officials.


The Inya Centre handed over RT-PCR Lab and related equipment which are worth over K24 million to Dr Zaw Wai Soe, Rector of University of Medicine 1 and the Vice-Chairman of Yangon’s COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Committee.


That is the second donation by Inya Centre. The centre donated ten Biomeme RT-PCRs which have the certificates of the World Health Organization (WHO) and US Food and Drug Administration. The RT-PCR Lab and related equipment will be used in Biosafety Level 2+ Laboratory of Medical Skill, Simulation and Research Centre.
