Arrangements are being made to stage Japan-Myanmar Friendship Entertainment in Sagaing and Monywa, according to the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism in Sagaing Region.
Under the guidance of regional government, the regional tourism development committee has invited Manjushaka cultural association in Japan in order to enhance tourism industry in Sagaing Region.
The Manjushaka cultural association will perform entertainment in Sagaing on 24 February and in Monywa on 25 February.
The committee organized auto racing and weekly activities for promoting regional tourism industry. Last year saw 170,707 local visitors and 26,211 foreign travellers visiting tourism zones such as Monywa, Sagaing, Shwebo, Katha, Kalay and Hkamti, according to the Directorate of Hotels and Tourism.
