Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprising members of the anti-drug squad raided the house of Aik Phat in Pasat Ward in the Town of Tachilek, Shan State (East) on July 9 at about 8:00 pm and arrested Sai Aun and Aik Kyaing along with Ks. 360.00 million worth of heroin weighing 42 kilos in the house.
The suspects were charged under the country's drugs law, and further investigations were underway.—MPF
