Library opened in Ywathit village, Meiktila

A ceremony to open a new library named “Future Light” in Ywathit village in Tawma village-tract, Meiktila was held this morning.

 

The new library was formally opened by MP U Soe Aung of Amyotha Hluttaw, MP U Aung Kyaw Moe of regional Hluttaw, acting district commissioner U Kyaw Swa Maung Soe, Daw Ngu Cho Cho Kyaw from the District Information and Public Relations Department and U Khin Maung Aye, chairman of library committee. 

 

At the ceremony, MP Dr. Maung Thin of Pyithu Hluttaw gave opening remarks and Daw Ngu Cho Cho Kyaw shared knowledge on sustainable development of a library. Then, the secretary of the library committee expressed thanks to the officials. 

 

Afterwards, the donors provided a variety of books and cash assistance to the library. The library which is 28 feet long, 19 feet wide was constructed by K 3.5 million of funds of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and K 1.7 million of public contribution.
