An event to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) suits and items for containing coronavirus was held at the meeting room of Mawkmai Hospital in Shan State (South) yesterday afternoon.
As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, Commander of the Eastern Central Command Maj-Gen. Than Hlaing and members donated 120 PPE suits, 108 hand gel, 300 masks, 20 gloves, 10 spectacles and foodstuff to the people’s hospital in Mawkmai, Shan State (South).
Medical equipment and items were accepted by the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Sai Ngaung Sai Hein, Chairman of the township committee on COVID-19 Prevention, Control and treatment U Han Thura and the township medical superintended Dr. Mya Mya Than.—Sai Myo Thant (Mawkmai)
