MFF president inspects team camps, stadium for restarting MNL

Myanmar Football Federation President U Zaw Zaw inspected team camps of Myanmar National League football clubs and Thuwunna Stadium yesterday morning in Yangon, according to an official statement with the MFF.

 

Myanmar National League Committee Vice-Chairman Dr Sai Sam Htun, Myanmar Football Federation working committee member and Chairman of Shan United U Khun Naung Myint Wai also participated in the tour of inspection.

 

During the inspection tour, MFF President U Zaw Zaw urged officials from MFF and MNL to obey health guidelines to prevent COVID-19, to have clean and tidy team camp quarantines, to have systematic support of clean water plus purified drinking water for footballers and coaches during their camping, and football teams to obey strict standard operating procedures set up by the Ministry of Health and Sports, stated the source with the MFF.

 

Later, MFF president and officials went to the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon and inspected conditions of training grounds and maintenance of the stadium. The MFF president also urged football authorities to handle particular matters for restarting the MNL tourney, according to the MFF. Currently, MFF authorities are strictly following the COVID-19 rules and regulations set up by the Ministry of Health and Sports for restarting the MNL matches on 22 August.
