The Week-6 matches of the MPT Myanmar National League II 2020 will start today, according to a statement issued by the Myanmar National League. Myawady F.C. will take on Yaw Myay F.C. at 4 p.m. today at the Salin Stadium in Yangon. Mawyawadi F.C. will go up against University F.C. at 4 p.m. today at the Padonmar Stadium in Yangon.
On 6 March, Kachin United will play against Silver Stars F.C. at 4 p.m. at the Padonmar Stadium in Yangon.
On 9 March, Chin Land F.C. will take on Junior Lions F.C. at 4 p.m. at the Salin Stadium in Yangon.
As the matriculation exams for the 2019-2020 academic year are set to be held across Myanmar from March 11-20, all the matches have been scheduled before the exam under a mutual agreement between officials of the League II teams, said MNL officials.
After the conclusion of the Week-5 matches, Oaker Soe from Silver Stars F.C. stood as the highest scorer with seven goals.
Meanwhile, Kachin United’s Pyaw Du Aung, Chin Land F.C.’s Mung Theih Paw, and Mawyawadi F.C.’s Kyaw Zay Ya were tied in the second place with six goals each.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
