MoBA Union Minister inspects development works in Mon State

Ministry of Border Affairs Union Minister Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung accompanied Mon State Government Minister of Security and Border Affairs Col Kyaw Myint, and officials arrived at the Women’s Do­mestic Vocational Training School in Mudon, Mon State, yesterday morning, and the Union Minister fulfilled the re­quirements on the presenta­tion about the training school by it’s principal.

 

Then, the Union minis­ter met with the principal, deputy principal, employee trainers and female trainees and gave a speech about the four policies of the Ministry of Border Affairs that are being implemented in accordance with policies such as stability and tranquillity in the border areas, development of border areas, to develop the socio-eco­nomic condition of the ethnic people living in the border are­as and the development of hu­man resources of ethnic youth residing in border areas. The Union minister emphesised that stability and tranquilli­ty must be built as a priority for development, and all the trainees should be trying and learning the subjects as being taught and be able to carry out their own career and gave cash award to trainees and inspect­ed training halls, dormitories, mess, library and practical exercises of the trainees was followed up and checked.

 

Next, the Union minister and party arrived at the Mon State Development Supervi­sion Office in Mawlamyine in the afternoon. The State De­velopment Supervisor present­ed the conditions of regional development activities. The Education and Training De­partment’s officer in charge explained the information about the training school, and the Union minister fulfilled the needs, awarded cash and in­spected the office premises. — MNA/TS
