Ministry of Health and Sports received COVID-19 Antigen Test Kits and Personal Protective Equipment sets donated from Shinhan Bank based in the Republic of Korea, Shwe Daehan Motors Co., Ltd, NongHyup Bank and NongHyup Finance Myanmar yesterday morning in Yangon.
At the donation ceremony, Deputy Chief of Mission from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Minister Mr Hahm Jeonghan explained the donation and Director-General of the Medical Research Department Prof Dr Zaw Than Tun expressed words of thanks. After receiving the donations from the Deputy Chief of Mission and officials from Shinhan Bank, Shwe Daehan Motors Co., Ltd, NongHyup Bank and NongHyup Finance Myanmar, the Director-General returned the certificates of honour.
Shinhan Bank donated 1,000 COVID-19 Antigen Test Kits worth of US$7,000, Shwe Daehan Motors Co., Ltd donated 1,000 COVID-19 Antigen Test Kits worth of $7,000 and NongHyup Bank and NongHyup Finance Myanmar donated 2,500 COVID-19 Antigen Test Kits worth of $15,000 and 1,000 PPE sets worth of K18.5 million.
