MoI UM meets staff of affiliated departments in Yangon

Union Minister for Informa­tion U Maung Maung Ohn met with the staff of affiliated de­partments under the ministry at Studio A of MRTV in Yangon yesterday.

 

First, he inspected the re­cording sessions at Studio 1 and Studio A.

 

During the meeting with the staff, he said he met staff serving duties in Yangon to comfort them. Although all have different aims, the com­mon intention is the develop­ment and prosperity of the nation.

 

Moreover, AI development can lead to technological war, so all should study media-relat­ed technologies while watching the activities of the govern­ment continuously to be able to provide the public with factual information.

 

He also highlighted the need to persuade young peo­ple to use the right methods and raise their awareness re­garding religion, culture, and traditions in media ways.

 

He continued that gov­ernment employees should make efforts for the interest of the country by applying their knowledge and opinions related to the geopolitical and geo-economic status.

 

He then urged the staff to carry out their respective du­ties in unity, whereas the minis­try is a focal one that connects the government and the public.

 

He also clarified the Peo­ple’s Military Service Law and the critical role of accurate in­formation.

 

Then, the Union Minis­ter and party drew lots of five MRTV DTH satellite dishes and 100 DVB T2 Set Top Boxes for the staff and cordially met them.

 

The Union Minister also inspected the warehouse of the Printing and Publishing Department in Yangon on the same day. — MNA/KTZH
