Licenses for motorcyclists will be issued every Sunday of the third week of a month, according to Department of Road Transport.
Just as the proportion of motorcycles to licensed motorcyclists is great, the issuance of driving licenses is to be carried out every Sunday, said Daw Khin Sapal, director of the Department of Road Transport (Mandalay).
The licenses are issued in a matter of day to those who got through the driving tests.
In Mandalay, there are 1.8 million motorcyclists, out of whom only one 1 million are license holders.—Thurein Lin
