Pinlebu, 12 March
A multiplier training course on natural disaster reduction and youth volunteers was opened at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Pinlebu Township, Sagaing Region yesterday morning.
On the occasion, Chairman of the township management committee U Khaing Lin Naing delivered an opening speech and an official from the Department of Disaster Management clarified the purpose of the training course. The three-day training course is being attended by 30 trainees in the township.
The training courses covers policies, laws and bylaws on natural disasters, terms of natural disaster management, impacts of natural disasters, emergency responses, distribution and supply of relief supplies, and natural disaster reduction.—Myo Lwin (Pinlebu)
