Sports & Physical Education Department (SPED) of Myiek District honoured the participants in State/Region (Central) “Exercise is Medicine” Initiative at the Myeik District Sports Hall in Myeik Town, Taninthayi Region yesterday.
Myeik District won 2018-2019 State/Region (Central) “Exercise is Medicine” Initiative that was organized by the Ministry of Health and Sports.
The department presented trophies and certificates of honour to a total of 28 sportspersons of Myeik University, schools, training centres, organizations and departments and individual sportspersons.
At the meeting, Myeik District Deputy Administrator U Myint Tun first gave a congratulatory speech, and the Deputy Minister and officials honoured the participants in “Exercise is Medicine” Initiative with trophies and certificates.
On behalf of the honoured participants, Daw Khin Khin Htay, a teacher, expressed words of thanks.
