Acting on a tip-off, the combined team comprising anti-narcotic task force raided the home of Mah Tha Zin Thein in Ward-11/14 in the town of Dala at about 9:35 pm on July 1 and confiscated 190 yaba pills from her.
According to the investigation, police members searched the home of Kyaw Ko Oo in Thamdakanche Ward in the town of Dala at about 9:50 pm and seized 3800 yaba pills in the home.
In a similar incident, police members raided the home of Mah Nai Ki in Ward-6 in the town of Tangyan, Shan State on July 2 at about 5:30 pm and seized 1510 yaba pills in the home.
The suspects were charged under the country's drugs law, and further investigations were underway.—MPF
