An event to inaugurate a new market and handing over of the new bazaar was held in Kali Town, Southern Shan State this morning.
The new market which was built on a self-reliant basis was formally opened by Lower House MP for Kunheing Township Daw Nang Khin Saw, Shan State MP U Sai Aung Kyaw Oo, head of a local militia, and chairman of the town development committee by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
Next, patron of the committee for construction of the market U Sai Khaung clarified matters relating to the new market and the local militia leader handed over documents relating to the market to the chairman of Kunhing Township development committee.
The chairman of the township development committee then spoke words of thanks and those present viewed round the new market.
