A new office of the Department of Ethnic Literature and Culture and the Department of Protecting Ethnic Rights under the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs was inaugurated at Ottha Myothit in Bago this morning.
First, Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Naing Thet Lwin, Deputy Minister U Hla Maw Oo, Bago Region Advocate U Ohn Myint, Bago Kayin Ethnic Minister Naw Pwal Say and Chief Engineer of the Ministry of Construction U Thein Naing Aung formally opened the new facility.
Afterwards, the Union Minister and the Regional Minister for Ethnic Affairs gave remarks and the chief engineer clarified the salient points of the project, this was followed by traditional ethnic entertainment.
