A ceremony to hand over a new school building to education department was held at Basic Education Post-Primary School-9 in Titutoochaung village, Kangyidaung Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning.
The new school was opened by MP U Soe Moe Tun of the regional Hluttaw, Township Education Officer Daw Thein Thein and officials who examined the new school.
At the ceremony, MP U Soe Moe Tun of the regional Hluttaw and TEO Daw Thein Thein gave remarks. U Kyaw Soe Naing from the Township Rural Development Department clarified the works undertaken with the funds of the department for boosting socioeconomic status of rural people and education sector.
Afterwards, MP U Soe Moe Tun handed over proper documents related to school building to Township Education Officer. The one-storey school building, which is of RC type, was constructed with the use of K 10 million allocated under Annual Village Investment Program (AVIP) by the Rural Development Department in 2018-2019 FY and K 1 million contributed by the village people.
