A total of 12 kilogrammes of Happy Water (stimulants) worth over Ks.1.38 billion were captured in Tachilek Township in Shan State (East), according to the Myanmar Police Force.
Acting on a tip-off, a combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotics Task Force examined a Crown vehicle driven by Sai Hau Kham accompanied by Thet Hlaing Oo on the bypass in Tachilek Township on August 4 at about 4:00pm.
A total of 12.36 kilogrammes of Happy Water worth over Ks 1.38 billion were seized in the car. According to investigation, the offender, identified as Mah Cho No Ret Sisarika was arrested in a motel in Makahokham Ward in the town of Tachilek.
Police have taken legal action against the offenders and an investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of the crime chain. — MNA
