People with irregular income in Taunggyi receive foodstuffs

Kanbawza bank, well-wishers and Shan State Government jointly provided food rations to the unemployed people and those who have no regular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 in Taunggyi, Shan State (South) this morning.

Under this food supply program, 1224 families from Seinpan and Shwetaung wards in the town of Taunggyi received rice, cooking oil, salt, onion, coffee and beans.

Also present on the occasion were Dr. Aung Than Maung , Minister of Bamar Ethnic Affairs , U Aung Ko Win, Patron of KBZ bank, members of the township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment and members of social organizations.—Sai Than Kyaw (Taunggyi)
