Pregnant women, children from IDP camps in Kutkai receive relief supplies

Officials from the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement provided relief supplies to pregnant women and children below 2 years old from seven internally displaced people (IDP) camps amid the outbreak of COVID-19 in Kutkai Township, Shan State (North) yesterday.

 

Under the relief supply program, 10 pregnant women and 50 children under 2 years old from seven IDP camps in the township received K 30000.

 

Also present on the occasion were U Ba Oo, chairman of the township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment and the township Administrator, staff officer of the township Department of Disaster Management Daw Aye Min Min San, chairperson of the township Women’s Association and village administrators.—Main Ba Nyan (Kutkai)
