Relief items were provided to fire victims in Hayat Ward-18, Shwepyithar Township in Yangon Region on 14 December.
Officials from Department of Disaster Management together with the Hluttaw Representative and members of the township Disaster Management committee provided rice worth K 24.4 million for three months to 905 fire victims from 235 households and K 500000 each to two people who died in the fire in the township.
The fire broke out in No. 18 Hayat Ward in Shwepyithar Township, Yangon Region on 21 November this year.—Myo Min Thein (Mayangon)
