Relief supplies provided to fire victims in Tatkon Township

Tatkon, 19 March

An event to provide cash assistance and relief supplies to fire victims was held in Thawta Village in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory this morning.

At the event, fire victims received one bag of rice per household provided by the Township General Administration Department, one box of family kits per household, one box of kitchen utensils each and one bag of shelter tool kits provided by the Myanmar Red-Cross Society.

In addition, fire victims also received K 1820000 per household, rice, cooking oil, medicine, salt, clothes, iron box, kitchen utensils and home appliances provided by Thawta Village Youth Group and well-wishers.

Also present on the occasion were member-2 of the Township Administration Body Dr. Khin Maung Tun, the Township deputy Administrator U Thura Oo, head of the Nay Pyi Taw Territory Red-Cross Society U Soe Lin, village tract Administrator U Maung Thein and members of Thawta Village Youth Group.—Tin Soe Lwin(Township IPRD)
