Pakkoku, 18 August
An inauguration of rural electrification was held in Hsinbyugon Village, Pakokku Township in Magway Region this morning.
The structure was built under the National Electrification Plan (NEP). The electrification facility was formally opened by Magway Region MP U Han Zaw Win, an official from the Electricity Supply Enterprise and two village officials by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
Next, the regional lawmaker gave a speech and the ESE official shared knowledge about the risk of electricity. An official from the Information and Public Relations Department and village elders then spoke words of thanks.
Ten villages including Hsinbyugon Village in the township have been supplied with electricity from the National Grid under the NEP so far.
