Rural healthcare center inaugurated in Phoungpyin Township

A ceremony for handing over a rural healthcare center under the Department of Public Health took place in Hehlaw Village in Phoungpyin Township, Sagaing Region on Sunday morning.

 

The rural healthcare facility was formally opened by the Lower House MP U Tun Wai, Dr. Nyi Nyi Lwin from the Department of Public Health, regional legislator U Khin Maung Tun, chairman of the township management committee U Khin Maung Myint, a village administrator and a village elder by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

 

Afterwards, the Lower House parliamentarian delivered an address and the speeches by an official from the Department of Public Health and the chairman of the township management committee. Next, a representative from the tender winning company Galaxy Star Construction handed over documents relating to the rural healthcare center to Dr. Mon Soe Yi of the department. A village elder then expressed words of thanks.

 

The ceremony was also attended by the township level departmental officials, village administrators and villagers.—IPRD
