The closing ceremony of Shan literature and cultural course was held at the town hall in Namsang, Southern Shan State this morning.
First of all, lawmaker for Shan State parliament U Sai Lon made an opening address and representatives from the Shan literature and cultural association clarified the purpose of the course. Next, the legislator, the head of the township police force, and officials from the Shan literature and cultural association presented completion certificates and cash to award winning trainees.
The course run from 18 March to 8 May and was attended by 110 trainees in the township. In attendance were Township Administrator U Nyein Chan Aung, departmental staff, members of the Shan literature and cultural association and trainees.—Thura Aung (IPRD)
