Shan United gets best player, coach awards for consecutive months

Shan United Football Club won Best Coach and Player Award of MPT Myanmar National League 2020 for the months of September and October according to the statement with the MNL.


Shan United head coach U Aung Naing won the best coach award while Shan United’s goalkeeper Myo Min Latt garnered the best player award for a couple of months.


The awards were selected by the football authorities of the Myanmar National League and Myanmar Football Federation.


The two awards were presented at the end of the MPT Myanmar National League 2020 season matches at Yangon United Sports Complex on 1 October.


The coaching award was presented by Shan United Chairman U Khun Naung Myint Wai, and the best player award was presented by U Soe Moe Kyaw, Chief Executive Officer of Myanmar National League.
The best coach award was K150,000 kyats with a commemorative medal, and the Player Award was a cash prize of K200,000 with a medal.


Shan United head coach Aung Naing won the Coach of the Year award for the second time this season, and the first time was in the previous month while Shan United goalkeeper Myo Min Latt earned the award for the first time.


In January, Hantharwady United head coach U Myo Min Tun got the best coach award while Hantharwady’s striker Donald Bissa won best play award. Also in February, Yangon United head coach U Tin Maung Tun won best coach, award while Maung Maung Lwin won best player award.


Next, Hantharwady United head coach, U Myo Min Tun, earned best coach award for March and August and Shan United player David Htan also won the best player award for March and August.
