Southern Myanmar winger achieves MNL 100th goal

A goal scored on 22 February by Southern Myanmar FC winger Shine Thura won the 100th goal memorial prize of the Myanmar National League 2020 season.
 

The goal was scored during his team’s match against Chin United played at Yamanya Stadium in Mawlamyine, Mon State.
 

The match ended with an 8-3 win for Southern Myanmar, as Shine Thura scored the 100th goal for Southern Myanmar FC at the 71st minute.
 

As regards the 100th goal award, Shine Thura received K 300000 from the deputy director of Marketing for Myanmar Post and Telecommunications before yesterday’s week-9 match of Myanmar National League played between Southern Myanmar and Zwekapin United.
 

During yesterday’s match, Southern Myanmar faced a 1-3 loss against Zwekapin United.
 

Last year’s 100th goal for the Myanmar National League was also garnered by Southern Myanmar striker Kaung Si Thu.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
