Stake-driving ceremony for construction of Immigration, Population Department’s office held in Htantabin Tsp.

A stake-driving ceremony for construction of Immigration and Population Department’s office was held in the town of Htantabin, Yangon Region yesterday.

At the event, Minister for Ministry of Yangon Region Immigration and Human Resources Daw Moe Moe Su Kyi delivered an opening speech.

Afterwards, Daw Moe Moe Su Kyi, the region Hluttaw Representatives U Aung Phone Kyaw San Oo and U Htay Maw, staff officer of the region Immigration and Population U Saw Naing and U Chit Tun from Shwe Yadana Myaing Company drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site and sprinkled scented water on it.

Also present on the occasion were Minister of Yangon Region Immigration and Human Resources, the region Hluttaw Representatives and officials from the township.

The new office measuring 46 ft. in length, 70 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height will be built with budget allocated by the regional government.—Zin Min Htike, IPRD
