Two suspects were arrested along with 190 stimulant pills and 139 bullets in Taunggup Twonship, Rakhine Stae yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, a combined team led by Police Inspector Zaw Ko Ko from Kispanadi Anti-Drug Squad, Police Sub-Inspector Zaw Min Oo of Taunggup Myoma Police Station and eye witnesses searched a Suzuki Smash driven by Phyo Hein, 24 and Kyaw Min Htet alias Phoe Cho, 20, pillion rider and seized 190 WY branded stimulant tablets weighing 19 grams worth K 665,000 hidden in the motorbike. Further investigation prompted the police to search the house of Phyo Hein where they managed to seize 139 bullets.
Action is being taken against Phyo Hein and Kyaw Min Htet of Taunggok under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. –District (IPRD)
