A total of 181 stimulant tablets were seized in a village in the township of Kawthoung in Taninthayi region yesterday afternoon.
Upon a tip-off received, local police officers together with witnesses searched the house of Than Tun (a) Naung Ni in the village of Baliaw, Sunge Balai village-group in the township. The police found a total of 181 stimulant tablets packed in a black plastic bag in the house.
Than Tun (a) Naung Ni, 35, was charged with drug offence by local police.—Kyaw Soe (Kawthoung)
