Arrival of tourists to the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon has declined in 2018 when compared to previous year, according to a source from the Shwedagon Pagoda Board of Trustees.
A crime reduction talk was conducted by policemen from a local police station at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Mongyu Town, Eastern Shan State this morning.
They had in-depth discussions on a wide range of issues, including relocating the British Embassy in Yangon to Nay Pyi Taw, strengthening bilateral relations between Myanmar and Britain, and providing developmental aid to Myanmar by Britain. The two sides also exchanged views on challenges faced by Myanmar in its transition period and the Rakhine issue.
