A ceremony to unveil a two-storey school building for No. 4 Basic Education High School in Theingone Ward, Thaton, Mon State was held this morning.
The school building was formally opened by State Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Htein Lin, State Minister for Pa’O Ethnic Affairs Nan San Wint Khaing, State Minister for Bama Ethnic Affairs U Shwe Myint, donors Daw Hla Thein and Daw Nyunt Thein.
On the occasion, the State Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Htein Lin and State Minister for Pa’O Ethnic Affairs Nan San Wint Khaing gave remarks and the family member of the donor family Dr. Thein Hlaing clarified the purpose of the donation.
Afterwards, the donors handed over proper documents related with newly constructed facility to officials from the education department. The donors furnished a two-storey school building, spending K 100 million in 2009 and this school building which is 20 feet long and 30 feet wide cost over K 157 million.—Thet OO (Thaton )
