Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe received UNHCR Resident Representative Ms Hai Kyung Jun and accepted COVID-19 PCR Test Kits donated from UNHCR. During the meeting, Ms Hai Kyung Jun said that the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees would continue to work with the Ministry of Health and Sports and the donation aims to assist in the COVID-19 medical treatment of MoHS.
The Union Minister said to travel to other regions and states of Myanmar to see the real situations on the ground, as the UNHCR representative in Myanmar and the Ministry of Health and Sports will continue to work together with the UNHCR.
Afterwards, Resident Representative Ms Hai Kyung Jun handed over 50,000 Cobas SARS-CoV2-PCR Test Kits to Union Minister Dr Myint Htwe and received the certificate of honour.
