US volunteer teacher offers English proficiency course in Yenangyaung

An English language proficiency course was opened on 19 April at the Padomma hall of   B.E.H.S-3 in Nyaunghla Ward, Yenangyaung, Magway Region.

The course, which will run from 19 April to 22 May, is being instructed by a volunteer teacher, named Ms. Madison Ann Miller from the Peace Corps’ English education program in Myanmar.

 

The grade six students are attending the course from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and the grade (10) students are attending the course from 9:15 am to 10:15 am every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

The course covers four skills, including writing, reading, speaking and hearing. It is being attended by 210 students.—Ko Soe Kyi, Township IPRD
