A ceremony to open a vocational sewing course was held at the Dhamayone of Kyungphaik Village in Mudon Township, Mawlamyine District, Mon State this morning.
At the event, U Aye Naing, staff officer of the district Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation clarified the purpose of the course and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training course to generate more income in their families after finishing their course. Afterwards, staff officer of the township DRD U Banya handed over teaching aid to the trainees.
The one-month training course is being attended by 21 trainees from villages and wards in the towship.
